  2. I don't understand the armhole shaping . It gives 75 stitches in parenthesis. where do I go after this?

  3. I'm having trouble at the armhole shaping not sure how to go about it. what do the in parenthesis after turn in row 1 mean?

  4. I can't get the stitch count to come out right after leaving st. unworked.

  5. The count is not correct on the armhole shaping. For large size I've got a stitch count of 99....it states I should have 83 stitches after first row of armhole shaping. 99 taking 9 off at beginning and 8 at the end....leaves 82 stitches. What is the correct count?

  6. This is a pattern design by Laura Gebhardt and can be found on the Annie's Catalog site. Here's the link:

  7. For x-large size the beginning chain needs to be 114 , not 113 , to get 111 stitches after using 3 for the turning chain.

  10. I am having trouble with the edging: specifically the "multiples of 6" - not sure what to do here. Help!

    1. I'm late answering, but multiples of 6 means when you are sc around the edge, count each sc, and try to have the total sc that you get at the end be divisible by 6 evenly. In the next round, you will begin the shells, and should have the appropriate amount of sc in the previous row to match the amount of shells you crochet. Not sure if that explanation helps lol...I'm not the best at explaining things, but hopefully you can understand. :)

  11. I don't understand the cluster stitch are they telling you to go in the back loop only

  12. The wording threw me too at first, but I've done lots of cluster stitches. You make 4 dc in the same stitch, but keep the last loop of each on the hook. Then you'll have 4 loops on the hook, thread over, and pull
that loop through all 4 loops.
